Hearts in Action Mexico

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.  So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.  1 Corinthians 3:6-7 Sometimes I wish we could do a million things at the same time.  There's so much to do. But.  We can't.  Which, is actually a good thing.   God's created us as a Body for a reason.  And HE is the head.  He is the one who makes what we plant & water grow.   As Hearts in Action, Mexico we get to work alongside local churches- including our home church.    This month we got to plant in the lives of kids and adults in the states of Guererro & Puebla (south of Mexico city ~ 6 hours).   Unfortunately, on our first day ministering, Xaume sprained his ankle! Of course, if you know Xaume, it didn't keep him off his feet too much.  THANKFULLY, (we did go to the doctor about a week later...) nothing was broken, and he's he...

But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and obtain life.  Hebrews 10:39  God's faithfulness gives us the promise we need to endure. It's not always easy, but it is always worth it.  You may have seen some pictures on Facebook of our travels, but don't be fooled.  We weren't just sight seeing :).  In Leon, Guanajuato we taught for the week on Youth Ministry.   T his church, Arbol de Vida (Tree of Life) is raising up a Rhema Bible Institute, which is critical in this region where a strong religious spirit and few evangelical churches make solid biblical training particularly essential.   Sharing the Good News with others isn't always easy.  But it is a privilege.
