Break-In & Baptisms

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,   made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! Ephesians 2:4-5 (This was the passage we taught on the day of baptisms :) )  Just before we were to have our first baptisms, the site got broken into.  Somebody jumped the fence, cut the chain on the door and stole our propane tank.  Thankfully no major damage was done - just some articles thrown around as in intimidation... classic opposition before breakthrough. But, thankfully we had another propane tank at home so we took that on Sunday so we could have our cookout as planned in celebration of the four "baptizees."  Although there are more new believers, not all of them felt ready to take this step, which we totally understand.  Praying for Mari, Jesus, Benito and Agustina after being baptized. December Days

Back home in Mexico for the New Year Happy New Year! Isn’t it amazing how in one night a whole year comes to a close and another begins? Praying He renews your hope in Him each new day.  Such a gift from the Father to get to be with loved ones for the Christmas season. A special honor to be there for my mom's 70th birthday celebration! Our visit to Ohio was a blast. A joy to see so many of you, and those we missed, we hope to catch up in the near future :)  And of course - the snow was AWESOME. Yes, freezing, but such an answer to prayer for the kids to get to experience it.  Before leaving Mexico we had a flurry of activity: Twist Christmas party and church Christmas service/brunch. It was quite a lot to squeeze in but was fun despite the rush.  Many came to check out Crece (Sunday service).    New backdrop project just in time for our Christmas party activities Kiddos getting their new Twist t-shirts!
