His Imagination

What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind -- God prepared this for those who love Him.  - 1 Corinthians 2:9 It’s been a month of lots of emotions. From baptisms, to celebrating three years of Twist Kids’ Club Ecatepec,  to delegating leadership to some of our team, to kids finishing the school year, to travel (the kids and I to Ohio and Xau to ministry trips)…  The constant through it all is that He is our Source. He just keeps reminding me: “Just be with Me.”  We weren’t sure that anyone was going to be baptized at our semi-annual date, but were so excited to see three young men say "yes" to the invitation. More than the baptism itself, it's the fact that they've chosen to follow Christ. Pictured here is Manuel. He’s been reading the Bible for himself and is really getting it. Please pray for their constant protection and growth. Praise God for Brayan and Hector who have specifically sown into these young lives.  Yotzan, C...

Fear: Outta Here

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom should I FEAR? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom should I be AFRAID?  - Psalm 27:1 Fear...I'd say it's always looking for ways in. Or rather, the enemy is always finding new ways to plant seeds of fear. But IN HIM we have nothing to fear. May He fill us with the strength of His salvation - having that confidence that walking with Him renders fear powerless.  One of the highlights of the month (above):  Out in the country, out of the city, Xau took this amazing team of four to minister to these young ones. The host church had reached out to ask for this time and were very much encouraged and inspired by the way we can dynamically present God's Word.   The most exciting part for Xau and I was that he didn't actually participate in the lesson at all. This was his turn to finally delegate the outreach.  And he was SO proud of how they did. These are the "first fruit" volunteers that have been raised up...
