Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.   1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 View of Volcano Popocatepetl from our house.  First off, my apologies for the shortage of photos.  We had a camera malfunction that we hope to resolve soon. Nonetheless, it has been a great month!  We are rejoicing... because God has opened an opportunity for us to serve in two youth groups as mentors to the leaders. Working with youth is an area deep in our hearts. For them to have a solid group where His Word is taught and His love is shown and His Spirit is welcome-- that's our goal. This position gives us the responsibility to oversee the administrative and practical aspect of youth ministry.  To clarify- we are not the youth leaders- we are simply in a support role to fortify and grow what they are doing.   Fun. Join us in praying for discernment and revelation in how to best ment...

Whoever has the Son, has life; whoever does not have the Son of God, does not have life. --1 John 4:12 We worked with the youth from this church to present dramas and choreography for the lesson. Thank you all for your prayers.  This month we were able to do several children outreach events-- welcoming kids from each community to hear the message of Life. While many celebrate the Day of the Dead, we have decided to emphasize life in Christ Jesus. This lesson focuses on the verse above-- the fact that without Christ, we are unable to have true, abundant life. Kids outreaches aren't just for kids.  With the combined outreaches, we were able to minister to an equal amount of adults! Closing the service by praying over the children and youth And the kids for their parents Here we are at a different location- on the street in a more central area.  Many children and adults received the Lord as their Savior!  Please pray ...

How much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him! -- Matthew 7:11 Scenic Toluca, Estado de Mexico, Mexico.  I totally underestimate God.  I didn't even ask for this one. But He, in His extravagant love, provided for me to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma to a women's conference called Kindle the Flame.   Ladies from Rhema, Mexico at Rhema Bible Church, Tulsa! Honestly, He sent me.  A lady I hardly knew provided the funding for almost the total cost of my plane ticket.  The whole trip proved to me just how surprising His goodness is.   It was a time He had set aside to pour into me.  I did not expect it. At all.  One cost after another was paid for by simply generous women who chose to plant in my life.   It left me not only refreshed, built-up, and pampered, but also inspired to continue sowing generously.  Which, we had the opportunity to do this month.  We helped coordinate and host a ...

He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25 Thank you-- all of you whom I had the priviledge of seeing in Ohio.  It was truly a refreshing and sweet time. Thank you for your amazing generosity and encouragement. We praise God for you.   Xaume did an awesome job at the youth camp while I was away.  He was in charge of coordinating the activities and teaching about various themes, including missions.   At the end of the week, the youth were able to go into the village and present  the gospel through drama, and the pastor shared the message of salvation.    Their church had raised donations which the youth then handed out. The villagers said there had never been an event of that magnitude in the town- of any kind.  We believe that both groups were blessed.  Right after I got back, we were invited to serve at a church in Pachuca, Hidalgo (a state north of the city).  They w...
