Whoever has the Son, has life; whoever does not have the Son of God, does not have life. --1 John 4:12

We worked with the youth from this church to present dramas and choreography for the lesson.
Thank you all for your prayers.  This month we were able to do several children outreach events-- welcoming kids from each community to hear the message of Life.
While many celebrate the Day of the Dead, we have decided to emphasize life in Christ Jesus.

This lesson focuses on the verse above-- the fact that without Christ, we are unable to have true, abundant life.

Kids outreaches aren't just for kids.  With the combined outreaches, we were able to minister to an equal amount of adults!

Closing the service by praying over the children and youth

And the kids for their parents

Here we are at a different location- on the street in a more central area.

Many children and adults received the Lord as their Savior!  Please pray for them to continue seeking after God and to attend the local churches that we worked with so they may grow in Him.

This is another area north-west of the city.  The shrine in the background is to Saint Death.  Hallelujah Christ overcame!

This was going to be an outreach in the street, but they church wasn't granted permission.  But we went and invited kids to come in, and they did!  It actually turned out better because it was a cold day!

With the different outreaches combined, over 200 children, 200 adults, and 50 youth heard the message of life in Christ.  Those who prayed to receive Jesus for the first time numbered 55.

We praise God for His work here in Mexico and pray for more! There are so many who are walking without a knowledge of the One True God.  Pray for us to have more opportunities to share His Word and the Truth of His love.

Praise God for you-- thank you for your faithfulness.  You are a blessing.

His Imagination

What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind -- God prepared this for those who love Him.  - 1 Corinthians 2:9 It’s been a month of lots of emotions. From baptisms, to celebrating three years of Twist Kids’ Club Ecatepec,  to delegating leadership to some of our team, to kids finishing the school year, to travel (the kids and I to Ohio and Xau to ministry trips)…  The constant through it all is that He is our Source. He just keeps reminding me: “Just be with Me.”  We weren’t sure that anyone was going to be baptized at our semi-annual date, but were so excited to see three young men say "yes" to the invitation. More than the baptism itself, it's the fact that they've chosen to follow Christ. Pictured here is Manuel. He’s been reading the Bible for himself and is really getting it. Please pray for their constant protection and growth. Praise God for Brayan and Hector who have specifically sown into these young lives.  Yotzan, C...

Every Step

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness. - Isaiah 9:2 Praise God for His light that breaks through our darkness!  This month I wanted to highlight a few testimonies from the year, starting with two key encounters since we've been back this fall.  On two unrelated occasions, we were able to sit down with beloved church members to work through and minister deliverance in areas of bondage in their lives. Praise God for His Spirit who moves us to confession and repentance and works to restore us by the power of His Word.  Pray for more of these times - that we may all be delivered from evil - just as Jesus prayed.     Training seminar for children's workers at this church: Eliaquim. It was an edifying and powerful time as they were touched by Father's heart for young ones. Jocelyn (above) & Karla: two more testimonies.  Karla started volunteering in Twist in 2023, but after star...

Treasure

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. - 2 Corinthians 4:7 Did anyone see that recent headline about a diver who stumbled upon nearly 50,000 bronze coins? The team also noted fragments of broken pottery.  I thought of this verse - imagining that "treasure" being held in those old earthen vessels. That's the beauty here.  Despite our fragility, God chooses to deposit in us the eternal riches of His Holy Spirit!  Praises: Renovations underway! This room had horrible moisture running through it due to inadequate roofing. Now, with proper paneling, the leakage will be eliminated. After remodeling adjustments for the adjacent room, Hector (full-time intern) will have a bedroom and this taller room will serve as our first church office! It was quite a project, but we're thankful to have a space for him to move into in the next week or two.  The beginning of September we celebrated Crece church's three ye...
