Hearts in Action Mexico

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.  Luke 1:46-47 Feliz Navidad and the best new year!!!  We are now here in Ohio visiting for the season - enjoying a wonderful time of refreshment with family, friends and sharing Liam.  As we close the year, here´s what´s been happening in December. On our trip to San Luis Potosí (6 hours north) we got to record another video blog and spend an evening doing a missions-focused lesson with the kids.  The church, Agape, invited us to be a part of their missions Wakeup weekend. We got to share a workshop about missions, and here below Yazna (Xau´s sister) is sharing in her workshop!  It was so fun and encouraging to be able to spend time with her as she was visiting Mexico this month.  She is a powerful witness.   The main speaker for the weekend was Marcos Schultz, a well-known missionary (dressed below ...

Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith...   Hebrews 12:1-2 So fun to see my friend Hallie from Asbury as she and her husband visited Mexico City!  J ust to note the pride in Mexico for Day of the Dead - if you can tell, the whole orchestra has skull face paint. But of course, we were giving it a different twist with "Choose Life."  Here below, a musician friend of ours, Cesar Castro, recorded a song just for us based on the verse we use for the lesson (Deut. 30:19). Later that day, we shared the "Choose Life" lesson at a park in an area called Ecatepec (north of the city). Partnering with the church,  Jesus Christ King of Judah, we were thankful that many who went out for candy received the message of life in Jesus!  A very special moment this month:  Liam meeting...
