May Mix

Please pray with us as we embark on a new endeavor! For years we've prayed about initiating a work in Ecatepec - one of the most crime-ridden and infamous areas of the city.  Due to the poverty and difficulties, it is RIPE for harvest.

After several scouting visits to Tulpetlac (a very old area which still maintains a towny air where Jaime, Xau's dad is from) , we've landed on a property right by a public park. It doesn't look like much, but with Xaume's eyes of faith it has excellent potential.

Tulpetlac is deeply rooted in the Catholic religion, much like most of Mexico. (To clarify- much more syncretist and idol-based than American Catholicism) Just a few blocks away a looming statue of Juan Diego with the Virgin of Guadalupe imprinted on his cloak is a reminder that we're up against some long-lasting strongholds.

The plan: Begin a Twist Kids' Club outreach onsite which will create a bridge to the community. From there, plant a church.  Our goal is to raise up a pastor team from the community to shepherd this region.

Of course our first step this month will be to clear out and adequate the rental space pictured below:

Prayer points:

1. Wisdom and direction from the Holy Spirit in presenting the Gospel and establishing rapport in the community.

2. Covering by the blood of Jesus against all opposition and spiritual attack.

3. Financial provision for rental, renovation and a larger vehicle for transportation (to get the start-up team there each Saturday and Sunday)

Thank you for breaking up soil with us!

Here are some shots from the month: Ohio to Mexico

Down at the river with Uncle Paul :)
Precious cousin time!

While we were in Ohio Xau had some down time but stayed busy with a new Twist Inauguration, Kids’ Day outreach events, YWAMers and some home maintenance projects…

Twist “Aragon” celebrates Kids’ Day!

Out of town outreach event

Inauguration of new Twist Kids’ Club: Iztapalapa

Creative Impact Training seminar

Another training seminar :) The books are getting out and being used by several churches for their Sunday school since many don’t have a structured curriculum.

Thank you for reading, praying, supporting, giving and loving on us!

We are continually raising support as the family and ministry grow.  As of now, we are about 1,500 dollars away from reaching our monthly personal support goal. Anything additional to that goes to ministry work (specifically: volunteer team support, Twist clubs, publishing, webpage development, outreach, etc.)

Every Step

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness. - Isaiah 9:2 Praise God for His light that breaks through our darkness!  This month I wanted to highlight a few testimonies from the year, starting with two key encounters since we've been back this fall.  On two unrelated occasions, we were able to sit down with beloved church members to work through and minister deliverance in areas of bondage in their lives. Praise God for His Spirit who moves us to confession and repentance and works to restore us by the power of His Word.  Pray for more of these times - that we may all be delivered from evil - just as Jesus prayed.     Training seminar for children's workers at this church: Eliaquim. It was an edifying and powerful time as they were touched by Father's heart for young ones. Jocelyn (above) & Karla: two more testimonies.  Karla started volunteering in Twist in 2023, but after star...

Treasure

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. - 2 Corinthians 4:7 Did anyone see that recent headline about a diver who stumbled upon nearly 50,000 bronze coins? The team also noted fragments of broken pottery.  I thought of this verse - imagining that "treasure" being held in those old earthen vessels. That's the beauty here.  Despite our fragility, God chooses to deposit in us the eternal riches of His Holy Spirit!  Praises: Renovations underway! This room had horrible moisture running through it due to inadequate roofing. Now, with proper paneling, the leakage will be eliminated. After remodeling adjustments for the adjacent room, Hector (full-time intern) will have a bedroom and this taller room will serve as our first church office! It was quite a project, but we're thankful to have a space for him to move into in the next week or two.  The beginning of September we celebrated Crece church's three ye...

A Man of Faith

“and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬    Juan Jaime Bueno: January 21, 1948- January 24, 2026  Xaume’s dad parted suddenly for his home with the Lord. Though we had seen a steep decline in his health and mobility, we didn’t know it would come this quickly. We honor his life as a man of faith, who treasured the Word, intercession, spiritual warfare and worship. He loved to laugh and keep up with the news. A dear friend to Xau, a father who loved him “as his own,” we will miss his regaños (scolding )  and hugs .  He loved his grandkids, and was very proud of each of them. We were proud of them as they helped unload the Operation Christmas Child boxes this December. The Crece team facilitated three outreach events where kids and families received this free gift from the Father and heard about the greatest gift: a relationship with Him.  La Palma outreach Zumpango Christmas Child Outreach...
