For the Lord God is a sun and shield.
The Lord gives grace and glory;
He does not withhold the good
from those who live with integrity.
Happy is the person who trusts in You,
Lord of Hosts!
Psalm 84:11-12

En-route to Oaxaca scenery

The second Kids´ Club Twist opened this month!   Over 30 kids came to the inauguration and more than 50 came in following weeks.   Pray for favor in the community and for parents to see the impact of the Word of God in their young ones' lives!

Amy & Andy - a YouTube kids' ministry here in Mexico - came to celebrate with us for the inauguration with a worship dance party!  The kids loved the fun songs and many prayed to receive Jesus that day.

The next weekend we were off to Oaxaca (7 hour bus ride south) to facilitate a Passing the Torch Seminar.  Over 60 parents and teachers came to hear God's heart for the new generations.  One wrote that the training made her reflect on how she had been preparing before and how she will develop now as a teacher.  "I have more fully understood the importance and responsibility [we have] as teachers."

Xaume also had the privilege of sharing the message at the host church that Sunday.  At the close of the message we took time for families to pray together - committing once more to acknowledge God over all.

That evening we visited Pastor Juan,  a friend who pastors in a town outside the city.  He invited Xaume to share with the church.

Some shots from the first week of classes at the newest Twist Club in Valle de Chalco!  Registration, opening games, worship and lesson.

Twist continues in Ixtapaluca (photos below).  Praise God attendance has been increasing again!   Keep praying for these kids and young folks to hunger for more of Jesus.

These boys are growing up!

Testimony: At Twist Ixtapaluca the focus this month has been on God´s power to heal us.  One young lady, Fátima, had been diagnosed with pre-diabetes.  After praying with her for healing, her follow-up results showed normal sugar levels!  Praise God!  We continue believing for her supernatural health.

A christian clown called Oscarín came to do an awesome show this last week. The kids and families were enthralled.  We had 70 kids that day which hasn't happened in months!

At our church we helped plan and teach at an all-day training for children´s teachers and assistants.  Over 100 people came to be encouraged and challenged in the call to minister to young lives.   The children's pastors were glad to have this specific time of renewal and instruction for the volunteers.

Ministry bit:
Graphic design for flyers, Facebook posts, banners, visuals and more...
Xaume especially spends many hours at the computer designing and posting publicity. He and I both enjoy it, but it definitely takes time as well as the extra trips to the printing district.  We´re always looking for help : )

The publicity for Oscarín´s show

Family news:
As Liam grows and we get more and more excited about baby Bueno, I´m trying to introduce him to potty training...
For baby boy we have a first name: Malakai, but working on a middle name.  Suggestions??

Thanks for being a part of our lives! Specific prayer requests include:
  • A mission group coming from Michigan next week! Pray for God´s Word to be released in power.
  • Organization, effectiveness and, above all, God´s heart in every area of ministry and especially Twist Kids´ Club
  • That we keep an attitude of prayer and praise in every moment.
Thank you!  Be blessed in Jesus´ Name!

Every Step

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness. - Isaiah 9:2 Praise God for His light that breaks through our darkness!  This month I wanted to highlight a few testimonies from the year, starting with two key encounters since we've been back this fall.  On two unrelated occasions, we were able to sit down with beloved church members to work through and minister deliverance in areas of bondage in their lives. Praise God for His Spirit who moves us to confession and repentance and works to restore us by the power of His Word.  Pray for more of these times - that we may all be delivered from evil - just as Jesus prayed.     Training seminar for children's workers at this church: Eliaquim. It was an edifying and powerful time as they were touched by Father's heart for young ones. Jocelyn (above) & Karla: two more testimonies.  Karla started volunteering in Twist in 2023, but after star...

Treasure

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. - 2 Corinthians 4:7 Did anyone see that recent headline about a diver who stumbled upon nearly 50,000 bronze coins? The team also noted fragments of broken pottery.  I thought of this verse - imagining that "treasure" being held in those old earthen vessels. That's the beauty here.  Despite our fragility, God chooses to deposit in us the eternal riches of His Holy Spirit!  Praises: Renovations underway! This room had horrible moisture running through it due to inadequate roofing. Now, with proper paneling, the leakage will be eliminated. After remodeling adjustments for the adjacent room, Hector (full-time intern) will have a bedroom and this taller room will serve as our first church office! It was quite a project, but we're thankful to have a space for him to move into in the next week or two.  The beginning of September we celebrated Crece church's three ye...

A Man of Faith

“and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬    Juan Jaime Bueno: January 21, 1948- January 24, 2026  Xaume’s dad parted suddenly for his home with the Lord. Though we had seen a steep decline in his health and mobility, we didn’t know it would come this quickly. We honor his life as a man of faith, who treasured the Word, intercession, spiritual warfare and worship. He loved to laugh and keep up with the news. A dear friend to Xau, a father who loved him “as his own,” we will miss his regaños (scolding )  and hugs .  He loved his grandkids, and was very proud of each of them. We were proud of them as they helped unload the Operation Christmas Child boxes this December. The Crece team facilitated three outreach events where kids and families received this free gift from the Father and heard about the greatest gift: a relationship with Him.  La Palma outreach Zumpango Christmas Child Outreach...
