I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance. - John 10:10
This is our cry! That all people may have LIFE in Him. Please join us in praying specifically today for salvation in His Name. This evening, and then again on Saturday, we'll be having "Choose Life" outreach - designed to present the Good News during these dates of Halloween/Day of the Dead.
Pray that people will be receptive, for great attendance, for openness in the Spirit to receive Jesus, for protection against the enemy, and for those presenting the Gospel message to have His words and boldness.
Thank you!

A couple encouraging stories:
Jocelyn (left):
When Joce started volunteering at Twist about a year and a half ago, she was pretty timid. She mostly wanted to stick with registering kids’ attendance. When I encouraged her to teach just the Bible verse, her response was: “Please don’t have me speak in front!”
Now, she’s officially taking on the role of leading Twist Tulpetlac. Not only is she now teaching the whole group of kids, but even leading choreography! (Next I'm working on getting her to lead worship.)
It’s not just her leadership that's growing. Her walk with God has solidified. She now regularly has time with Him and shares His truth with others.
Jesús:
Jesús and Joanna are a couple who unexpectedly found themselves at Crece (church plant in Ecatepec). Jesús was playing basketball at the park one Sunday with his son, and when the ball rolled over to our door, someone explained what the space was and invited him. God moved in their hearts, and a few weeks later they came to see what He had for them.
Now they've both come to have a personal relationship with Jesus - and have learned to read the Bible for themselves and put God's principles into practice.
Jesús is a lawyer. He takes very much to heart the urgency of God's truths. This Sunday, we'd invited he and Joanna to prepare a sermon (as we work on delegating more to the church Body.) Jesús spoke. His topic: Repentance. He testified to how God has changed him. Formerly, he identified as tough and vengeful. Now, he stresses reconciliation, forgiveness and repentance - repentance as true change, not just remorse.
Getting these glimpses of what God is doing keeps us going. When we get discouraged, it's His faithfulness and constancy that gently reminds us: we're not here for ourselves. Just. His. Glory.

Thanks so much for reading. Let's be praying. That's been a big reminder recently: be in prayer - at all times... He's the One working. Our job: practice obedience.
