Perseverance

But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. -James‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬

It’s that time of year! We are support raising specifically for staff and collaborators (of course also year-round 😅), as these funds are now running very low.

Here’s a brief breakdown of our current team:

Pris (PrEEs):

Heart-for-the-lost outreach and discipleship emissary

By God’s grace, Pris joined full-time in June 2025 - though she’s collaborated with us for a decade. As Twist Kids’ Club coordinator for the metropolitan area, she heads start up clubs and support for existing clubs. Additionally, Pris serves at our home several days a week and is taking Bible institute classes online.

(40+ years old; main household income-earner; full-time)

Héctor:

Steadfast prayer-warrior and on-site go-to

Haling from Honduras, Héctor started volunteering in February 2025. Now living at the Crece church facility, he helps maintain the space, builds relationships with the community, collaborates with Twist Kids’ Club on Saturdays, and is studying at a Bible institute. (39 years old; three-quarter time)

Jocelyn:

Worshipful administrator and children’s discipler

After a lapse as a reluctant volunteer in 2023, Joce gained experience with Twist in 2024, and in 2025 she became the Twist Ecatepec coordinator. She serves on the musical worship team, often teaches kids’ church, and helps with youth group activities. (21 years old; small stipend)

Yon (Yonathan):

Big-hearted passionate preacher and discipler

With several years in ministry and three as a pastor, Yon began teaching at Crece church intermittently in September 2025. This 2026 he and Xaume generally alternate teaching on Sundays. Currently working as an Uber driver, he’s given much time to preach, pray for and encourage ones at Crece.

(34 years old; current volunteer; goal to raise support for at least half-time!)

We’re asking God to provide for each of these and to increase provision in order to plant into others! If He puts in your heart to "adopt" any specific one, or give generally or let someone else know about this opportunity, please let us know or give directly using the giving link: Staff & Intern Support

Goal total: 1,550 dollars per month

Month Summary:

After my parents’ visit, we hosted a missionary couple from Costa Rica for two weeks. They’re raising support to minister in Southeast Asia. They shared at several of our friends’ churches and at three kids’ clubs.

Shortly after their departure, Xau’s mom came down with pneumonia-COVID, so she is staying in that same apartment upstairs. Thankfully, she is off oxygen and is now dealing with some high blood pressure.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and pray. We are honored.

This week we’re expectant for Xau’s trips to Monterrey and Chiapas to minister at youth camps. Please keep us all in prayer- to be directed by His Spirit- holding close to His heart in all things.

In His strength 💙

A Man of Faith

“and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬    Juan Jaime Bueno: January 21, 1948- January 24, 2026  Xaume’s dad parted suddenly for his home with the Lord. Though we had seen a steep decline in his health and mobility, we didn’t know it would come this quickly. We honor his life as a man of faith, who treasured the Word, intercession, spiritual warfare and worship. He loved to laugh and keep up with the news. A dear friend to Xau, a father who loved him “as his own,” we will miss his regaños (scolding )  and hugs .  He loved his grandkids, and was very proud of each of them. We were proud of them as they helped unload the Operation Christmas Child boxes this December. The Crece team facilitated three outreach events where kids and families received this free gift from the Father and heard about the greatest gift: a relationship with Him.  La Palma outreach Zumpango Christmas Child Outreach...

Every Step

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness. - Isaiah 9:2 Praise God for His light that breaks through our darkness!  This month I wanted to highlight a few testimonies from the year, starting with two key encounters since we've been back this fall.  On two unrelated occasions, we were able to sit down with beloved church members to work through and minister deliverance in areas of bondage in their lives. Praise God for His Spirit who moves us to confession and repentance and works to restore us by the power of His Word.  Pray for more of these times - that we may all be delivered from evil - just as Jesus prayed.     Training seminar for children's workers at this church: Eliaquim. It was an edifying and powerful time as they were touched by Father's heart for young ones. Jocelyn (above) & Karla: two more testimonies.  Karla started volunteering in Twist in 2023, but after star...

To Him

For from Him and through Him and to HIM are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.  -Romans 11:36 July highlights: Women's breakfast at  La Palma : At this Twist start-up site, we are seeing many moms hungry for the gospel. Once-a-month, volunteers from Crece church will be coordinating a breakfast-Bible time for them to join their kiddos in drawing near (currently, Twist is happening here two Saturdays per month). This is the beginning of a church plant...  Interview date! We finally heard back: Xau's Visa-Greencard interview is on September 17th in Ciudad Juarez (border town). Praise God! Praying and planning for next steps - asking for HIS direction and provision in all things. Xau had great trips to Monterrey, Chiapas and San Luis Potosi to teach at youth camps, preach and teach children's ministry seminars. Liam went with him to San Luis :) In one town where they ministered, the couple has been pastoring for 27 years. They'd been praying for God to ...
