Patient Waiting

“Therefore, brothers, be patient until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.” -  ‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬-‭8‬  “Wait. Patiently.” This has been God’s Word to me. “ And enjoy this season.”  He is so good at ministering His peace to us, even in the unknowns.  March praises:  - Liam turned 10 years old! 🥳 - We continue to see God’s hand building Crece church and Twist. 🔨 - Over 20 youth came to an outreach dinner, played games and received the Word. 🍽️ - Xau and I taught a children’s ministry seminar last weekend at a church we’d never worked with before. They were very grateful and excited to implement strategies. 📕 - We’re currently on a  family trip  in San Luis Potosí (6-8 hrs central north-west) to celebrate with a church here in the opening of their sec...

First Things First

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. -Matthew 6:33 As we walk through a season of uncertainty, in the midst of the questions we keep coming back to this truth: seek FIRST HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. But, what does that really mean? For one, constantly giving over to Him all our worries and unknowns, and two, refocusing as often as possible on the bigger picture: His glory in the world. This is bigger than me.  Day-to-day seeking His Kingdom looks like quieting our hearts before Him each morning (and throughout the day!), dedicating time with our children , taking time together as a couple, and, as we're able, walking with others towards Him - all the while taking HOPE from His Word and drawing POWER from His Spirit.  This month we saw God work through Jaime's memorial service (Xau's Dad), baptisms, child dedications, and fun times together. At the memorial, many of Jaime's family members (and a ne...

A Man of Faith

“and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬    Juan Jaime Bueno: January 21, 1948- January 24, 2026  Xaume’s dad parted suddenly for his home with the Lord. Though we had seen a steep decline in his health and mobility, we didn’t know it would come this quickly. We honor his life as a man of faith, who treasured the Word, intercession, spiritual warfare and worship. He loved to laugh and keep up with the news. A dear friend to Xau, a father who loved him “as his own,” we will miss his regaños (scolding )  and hugs .  He loved his grandkids, and was very proud of each of them. We were proud of them as they helped unload the Operation Christmas Child boxes this December. The Crece team facilitated three outreach events where kids and families received this free gift from the Father and heard about the greatest gift: a relationship with Him.  La Palma outreach Zumpango Christmas Child Outreach...

Wrapping up!

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything? - Romans 8:31-32 Worth-it view after our epic drive for a couple nights in Huatulco We want to thank you.  Thank you to each of you for tracking with us, for praying for us, for joining us in petition, for laughing and crying and being with us. Thank you for your generosity in giving towards the Kingdom.  What a year it has been. As we reflect, let's recount what He has done, celebrate who He is, and let Him fill us with vision for the next step. Christmas dinner Clothing give-away from donations drive What God has done: He's opened hearts to confession and healing.  He's convicted the proud and wooed them to repentance. He's brought  co-laborers  alongside us. He's healed the sick. He's ministered to the lonely and hopeless. He's brought His Spirit of Hope to brui...

Glory and Renown

Yes, Yahweh, we wait for You in the path of Your judgments. Our desire is for Your name and renown .  -Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭8‬  Greetings from the southern state of Oaxaca! A friend of ours invited Xau to share here at the Assemblies of God congregation he pastors so we made the 270-mile trip down for the weekend.  Here’s some progress from remodeling rooms at Crece facilities. Pictured: Intern Hector from Honduras will now stay on site. Keep praying his Mexican visa will be approved quickly! We’ve been waiting since April… Room we created from an old hallway. Where Hector will stay.  One of the youth gatherings from the month! Please keep praying for these young ones and for a strong team to form in walking together with them in Him.  Xau sharing with the men at their yearly “Brave” conference. The theme this year was Challenge: exposing the challenges they face as men and accepting the challenge God gives in His Word. In groups, between the teachings, they had t...

Annual Report 2025

Every Step

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness. - Isaiah 9:2 Praise God for His light that breaks through our darkness!  This month I wanted to highlight a few testimonies from the year, starting with two key encounters since we've been back this fall.  On two unrelated occasions, we were able to sit down with beloved church members to work through and minister deliverance in areas of bondage in their lives. Praise God for His Spirit who moves us to confession and repentance and works to restore us by the power of His Word.  Pray for more of these times - that we may all be delivered from evil - just as Jesus prayed.     Training seminar for children's workers at this church: Eliaquim. It was an edifying and powerful time as they were touched by Father's heart for young ones. Jocelyn (above) & Karla: two more testimonies.  Karla started volunteering in Twist in 2023, but after star...
